Educational Instruction.
The 80 Hour Initial Administrator Certification Program is a mandatory requirement for Administrators and any entity seeking licensure approval for a residential care facility for the elderly from the Department of Social Services.
The course curricula includes : Health and Safety Code Regulations, Title 22, Business Operations, Community Resources, Psycho-Social and Physical Needs of the Elderly, Staff Management and Supervision and Medications.
Upon completion of the 80 Hour Initial Administrator Certification Program, the individual must pass the state licensing examination with a score of 70 percent or better.
